I am a female foreigner in Shenyang, I have arrived to here a few weeks ago. I want to make new friends, both with foreigners and chinese people around my age, 31 years old. Please, if you have any suggestion, tell me. The problem is that I don't have much time, I work during the week. Sometimes I have time on weekends. . As I was living in Dalian before, I have some hardships to understand Shenyang people's accent. Most of girls are from Shenyang... and my coworkers just stay at home during weekends. Most of them work when they get home. I want to go to bars, but is it ok for a woman to go to a bar herself？Wouldn't people think I am too weird？I know it is normal in Japan for exemple, but I am not sure here. Hello, you can do something that can make you contact with people,for example,you may go to bars in public.Also,you can try to make friends with your workmates,they can introduce you to their friends. I believe you will have more and more friends.
