Dear Gina
I just came back from Beijing. I went there two weeks ago with my family. We stayed there for 12 days. It was the first time I went but my family had been there before. We went there for sightseeings. We have visited the Old Palace Museum, Tianamen Square and other beautiful places. Because this time of the year, weather was much better, cooler but not cold and had some shower but mainly dry. Most importantly, there were no smog. Food was really good but we didn't do a lot shopping though.
I knew Beijing has gone through a great transformation. As the matter of fact It's even better than I was expected, Although there is still part of the city undeveloped but most of it has now been modernized. It is such an advance city now. I really would love to go back and visit it again.
I know you live several thousand miles away in the USA, but how I wish you could go and visit our country one day. I am sure you would love it. At least you would enjoy the lovely food there! In the meantime please keep in touch. Best wishes!
